John Kincaid has recently been named as Laureate of the Academy of Illinois Lawyers by the Academy Board of Regents. The award has been received by (102) lawyers since its origination in 1999. The award is given to an attorney who has practiced law in Illinois for at least (25) years and demonstrated a commitment to the highest principles of the legal profession and to serving the public. John also recently received the Beacon Award from the Illinois Bar Foundation for service to the charitable arm of the Illinois State Bar. The awards follow a 2000 award for distinguished service to law and society. John has devoted his practice for the past (47) years to the preparation and trial of civil litigation in Cook and DuPage Counties. John served as President of the DuPage County Bar Association in 1991 and previous thereto was appointed General Counsel to the DuPage Bar.
